Classic Impruneta terracotta tub pot<\/strong>. The tub, a term that derives from the Latin “tina”, historically refers to a large and deep container used for the storage and transport of liquids. Today, the terracotta tub is reinterpreted as a plant box, perfect for enriching green spaces. The tub has an ancient origin and was used in cellars for various uses, as a container for food, bread, sausages, cheeses, vegetables. It was also used as a sink or washbasin to wash objects used in cellars. Since the 1900s it has been used to furnish the garden of villas, farmhouses, farmhouses, and apartments. At the same time it finds its place on the terrace, farmyard, patio, and balcony of the Tuscan house, and throughout Italy.<\/p>\n

The decoration of this article takes up the designs applied on the Orci, and also on the Conca imprunetina.<\/p>\n

The terracotta Tinozza presents itself as an ideal tub for plants, characterized by a style design and a modeled edge. Planter, flared flower box. It is a classic style item in Impruneta terracotta. In the rectangular version, the Tinozza is narrow, long and tall, also suitable for being positioned along the wall, corridor, balcony, and terrace. The reduced width has the possibility of having a minimum encumbrance but good soil capacity for the growth of the plant. Also to be used as a hedge for borders and separating spaces. The hedge helps to create an elegant separation from neighbors for greater privacy and confidentiality. The planter is made of original Impruneta terracotta of the highest quality. Of superior quality compared to ceramic, generic Tuscan terracotta, or galestro.<\/p>\n

The square version of the Tinozza has the same characteristics, and also has a greater width, with a greater volume capacity, more stable in the wind, and is suitable for being positioned in the center of the garden, terrace or green space.<\/p>\n

The design with rounded sides makes it a charming decorative element, and also favors good air circulation and optimal drainage. This tub represents a combination of functionality and aesthetics, perfect for enriching gardens and terraces with a touch of rustic elegance and tradition.<\/p>\n

Characterized by rounded corners, it has a decorated edge with scratches made by hand by the craftsman, which have created a unique wave-like movement. Each scratch was imprinted extemporaneously, without the aid of predefined measurements or casts, making each piece truly original. The lower edge is decorated with repeated pinches, performed manually with thumb and forefinger on the soft clay, giving the design a further artisanal touch.
