Saint Anthony Impruneta Terracotta

The Saint Anthony Impruneta Terracotta panel depicts the saint in bas-relief, hand-modeled on a centred panel (rectangular with an arched top). It portrays Saint Anthony the Abbot, protector of animals and farmers, following the traditional iconography: in his left hand he holds a flame, symbol of faith and charity, while in his right he carries a staff topped with a small bell. At his feet stands a pig, the animal sacred to him, representing his protection over domestic life and rural work.

Available in various sizes, this piece serves as both a decorative and devotional element, blending art and spirituality. It can be placed in homes, gardens, chapels, cloisters, churches, or other sacred places, where it becomes a symbol of blessing and protection.
The arched shape recalls Renaissance-style sacred frames, giving the composition balance and harmony.

Handmade with Impruneta clay, it is frost-resistant to temperatures below -30°C, keeps its shape over time, and naturally develops a patina that enhances its surface. Each panel is unique, with subtle variations that reflect its artisanal craftsmanship.
