Cornucopia. Cornucopia is the classical name for the Horn of Plenty, originally that of the goat Amalthea, which nursed Jupiter. A symbol of fertility, it is always depicted brimming with fruits and flowers. In ancient times, it was an attribute of gods and goddesses believed to be dispensers of earthly goods, particularly for the ancient Romans, the deity associated with prosperity and good fortune: the goddess Fortuna. This small ornament, besides being highly decorative when hung on a wall, can also make a lovely gift and carries a wish of goodwill. Handcrafted with Impruneta clay, its color can range from orange to whitish, pinkish, or red. It can be hung or mounted using cement or tile adhesive, indoors or outdoors.
