Rosebud. Like the tulip bud article, the large terracotta rosebud can serve as a focal point of color in vast green spaces. Meadows, laurel hedges, boxwood, and various types of evergreen trellises such as Angeriensis ivy, English ivy ‘Sagittifolia’, creeping fig, and jasmine can all benefit from these roses with the warm hues of terracotta, available in numerous other shades as well. Before firing, many colors can be achieved, from solid to nuanced tones that complement the petal profile. Ideal for use as road deterrents in refined settings, where rows of rosebuds can create elegant barriers for pedestrian access, perhaps interspersed with soft lighting such as directional LEDs and path lights. Resistant to low temperatures and frost, the surface will acquire an aged patina over time.
