From Thursday, May 9th to Sunday, May 12th in the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens, the Exhibition Market dedicated to Flowers, Plants and Garden Complements returns to Milan: ORTICOLA DI LOMBARDIA.
This edition will be all about Generation G: young Gardeners, born and raised with the understanding that nature is an indispensable asset and one to be preserved, but it is also a space in which it is possible to innovate and experiment.
With this spirit, Poggi Ugo will bring to the exhibition the newly launched Ydra collection, vases with Idroriserva-designed by Sabrina Sguanci Baroni presented at the Fuorisalone during the just closed Milan Design Week.
The Ydra collection vases explore, in the union of the earth-water pair, the protection of the plant species, tried by rising temperatures and wants to remark the indissoluble relationship between man and nature: a mutual dependence, an existential bond.
At this time more than ever, it is important to learn that each of us is responsible for our own habitat: our planet is our garden, and that is why we must take care of it.
The Ydra collection was created to help with this: the water reservoirs built into the design of the 3 pots “Cone,” “Square,” and “Flower” help to store water, releasing it to the plant gradually.
If you are curious to see this and other Impruneta terracotta creations from the ancient Poggi Ugo kiln up close, you can visit us at Booth No. 57.
