Vertical striped box

The timeless design of the stripes embellishes classic or modern gardens. The Vertical Striped Cassette is part of a large collection of vases, cassettes and cache-pots with more or less small stripes: a motif that has been repeated since the time of the ancient Greeks. The “evergreen” stripe motif which over the centuries has seen various youths, in fashion and objects, is often found in rounded or squared shapes, with thin stripes called “millerighe” or with wide and large stripes, hollow or in relief. Handmade with Impruneta clay resistant to frost at -30 °C. The excellent breathability of terracotta, the thermoregulation and the slight release of humidity when watered, give health to the roots of the planted plants. As time passes, the planter acquires a beautiful appearance on the surface with color tones that evolve thanks to surface oxidation.
