Cone with spires. To make a simple cone unique, small cuts are all that’s needed, each meticulously done by hand and therefore never identical. Two rows of small clay scales unfold outward, resembling thorns. After making a cut with a thin knife, the triangle is gently pushed outward with the index finger of the other hand, just enough. This vase, modern and decorative, is designed and crafted by Antonella Andrei; each piece is signed by the artist for its uniqueness and marked with the year of creation alongside the Poggi Ugo logo. It is perforated only at the top, making it versatile for direct planting as well as for use as a flowerpot. It is also available in ‘grigiolava,’ a version that enhances its modern appeal. Produced in multiple sizes, it is suitable for compositions of various heights.
