Fountain by Andrea del Verrocchio

Terracotta fountain inspired by Andrea del Verrocchio, featuring a central column with a square base supporting a circular basin. At the top stands a terracotta statue of a putto holding a fish in his arms — a figure inspired by the angel sculpted by Verrocchio for the Baptism of Christ.

Water flows from the fish’s mouth into the upper basin and continues downward toward the base, creating a fluid and harmonious motion.

Entirely handmade with Impruneta clay, the fountain is frost-resistant down to -30°C, durable, and crafted to withstand outdoor conditions over time. As the seasons pass, it develops a natural patina that enhances its surface.
