Medicean pot with base

The most classic shape for pots with base. From ancient Greece, to the Roman era, to the Renaissance, to the Empire style, this cup shape was made, with or without bas-reliefs, in all periods and in all materials such as marble, stone, alabaster and all types of casting, primarily bronze. We also find it in crystal or glass as a centerpiece is practically an “evergreen”. This, made by hand by the Terrecotta Poggi Ugo from Impruneta, depicted in the central part of the mythological scenes. Composed of two pieces supplied separate to be joined on site with simple glue or cement for outdoor use.
