Chianti Putto bottle holder handmade with Impruneta clay. Bottle holder decorated with a bas-relief with an image representing the logo of the so-called “Chianti
Putto”. In the sixties and seventies of the last century there was a consortium called Putto which brought together many producers from the large Chianti area defined as non-classical, but which was perceived by the market as a guarantee of quality superior even to the Chianti Classico Gallo Nero. The bas-relief decoration represents the “Bacchino Festante” by Giovanni Duprè, a little angel surrounded by vine shoots and bunches of grapes. The marble sculpture from 1861 is kept in the Gallery of Modern Art of Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
An elegant and useful accessory for bringing wine to the table. Also excellent as a gift idea. The isothermal characteristics typical of terracotta allow the wine to be kept at the right temperature. Terracotta protects from the sun’s rays, does not alter humidity, furthermore its characteristic of being thermo-inert preserves the wine from temperature changes. Given the frost resistance of Impruneta terracotta (guaranteed down to -30°C), it can be placed in the freezer for a few hours and thus also become a glacette to keep white or rosé wines fresh. The bottle holder can be customized on request, respecting a minimum order. Made in two sizes, as well as for wine bottles, also with a larger diameter for sparkling wine bottles. Also available in the same category are: Smooth bottle holder, La Volpe e l’Uva bottle holder and Round bottle holder.
Handmade with Impruneta clay, resistant to frost at over -30°C, excellent durability, the shape remains unchanged over time.
