Chinese pot with trimmed base

The Chinese pot with trimmed base is a medium-sized terracotta pot from Impruneta, designed for gardens, terraces, and courtyards where a well-proportioned, visually striking element is needed.

Its broad, rounded shape reflects the traditional silhouette of oriental pots, with full and harmonious volumes. The thick, slightly protruding upper rim defines the opening with elegance, while the trimmed base adds a decorative detail that lightens the overall structure and provides a balanced rhythm.

Sturdy and well-constructed, it is suitable for medium-sized plants such as ornamental small trees, citrus, evergreen shrubs, or compositions with geraniums and seasonal flowers. Placed individually, it creates a strong focal point; in pairs, it enhances entrances, stairways, or walkways.

Handmade using Impruneta clay on plaster molds, it is frost-resistant beyond -30°C, retains its shape over time, and develops a natural patina that enhances the surface. The terracotta ensures breathability and proper moisture balance, promoting healthy roots and plant growth.
