Cod Churn

Cod churn. Very low oval basin where the salted cod was placed. They were enamelled inside, like oil jars, and the grocers kept them in the shops with the cod that had to be found in the water before being sold. Now it is perforated at the bottom, like all flower pots, and is a container, given the small capacity of soil, suitable for planting bulbs, seasonal flowers or succulent plants, but we wanted to keep the name to remember the primary use of this unusual container. Consider the good stability of this object which, even when placed high up, has an anti-tipping shape.
