Totem Seat

Handmade with the Impruneta clay and therefore resistant even at low temperatures, it is equally interesting in common indoor environments. Its peculiarity, in addition to the unpublished design, is also in combining terracotta with a material, Mariotti Fulget’s silipol or terrazzo,  which has created for us a mixture of exclusive colors to match the terracotta. The terracotta part of the pouf can also be turned upside down as the design and stability are studied indifferently to be used with the half sphere at the base or at the top as a support, thus allowing the same object to be used in repeated sequences, the same or different from each other.  Trunk, Totem seat and Leaf chair are part of the 19 models designed by the Spanish studio Mascquespacio for the 100th anniversary of the Terracotta Poggi Ugo on a project called “Land”, that is, a return to the origins, to the land, by Valentina Guidi Ottobri.
