Medici smooth pot with base. The most classic shape ever for risers. From ancient Greece, to the Roman era, to the Renaissance, to the Empire style, this cup shape was created, with or without bas-reliefs, in all eras and in all materials such as marble, stone, alabaster and all types of casting, primarily bronze. We also find it in crystal or glass as a centrepiece, it is practically an “evergreen”. The urn with foot is a version with delicate pods both on the base and also in the lower part of the cup. The other parts are smooth to give a lighter and simpler aesthetic impact. The Alzata Medicea Liscia is made of original Impruneta clay with the addition of a natural oxide, also in GrigioLava finish in dark grey. The smooth Medici stand made by hand from the Poggi Ugo terracottas of Impruneta is a smooth version urn with foot. Made up of two pieces supplied separately to be joined on site with simple glue or outdoor cement. the support foot is 19×19 cm.
